DO YOU NEED A RIDE FROM OUR TRANSPORTATION NETWORK?
Your Chapter runs a Transportation Network to bring Veterans into Perry Point VAMC
for appointments and return them home. Please read the Patient's Rules and Regulations if you plan to schedule a pickup from the DAV Transportation Network.
Here is how this Transportation Network works:

Normally we need five days notice to schedule you for pickup.

When you call to obtain a ride you MUST have a scheduled Doctor's appointment in the computer at Perry Point VAMC.

If you are unable to get into the van without assistance, we will not be able to pick you up in our vans.

If you are in a wheelchair and you ARE capable of getting in and out of the chair unassisted and into the van, then we will be able to pick you up and transport you to the VAMC.

We do not transport wheelchair patients who CANNOT get in and out of their chairs without assistance.
We will pick you up from your home and bring you to Perry Point VAMC to catch the shuttle to Baltimore VAMC.
On your return to Perry Point VAMC on the shuttle we will then return you to your home.
NO FOOD, DRINKS OR SMOKING ARE ALLOWED IN THE VAN PERIOD!
